Half way through my university degree I started my own business, Feels Good Creative. Since beginning in 2013, I was able to use my cross-functional skillset learned from my university degrees and specialised in strategic and creative services small and medium businesses across in Brisbane as well as larger brands – interstate and internationally.

With the ability to experience the Ermenegildo Zegna Brand a primary perspective as a Sales Consultant, this has allowed me from the time of the store's opening in April 2013 has  to develop a top-down understanding of Zegna's appreciation not only for beautiful products and fabrics, but also for its world-class ability to delight its customers beyond the brand.

I was appointed the role of a Sales Consultant at Ermenegildo Zegna's latest flagship store situated on the stretch of high-end luxury goods retailers on Edward Street in Brisbane. Aligning with my previous roles, the element of customer service shines through by ensuring each customer is welcomed with a warm and sincere manner.

While the Zegna brand may be perceived as selling a "look", as a Sales Consultant, rather than a Salesperson, I seek to fulfil the needs of the customer to the highest possible standard by selling appropriate "functionality". In turn, by satisfying the needs and wants of a customer to the highest degree, I aim to build ongoing beneficial and trustful relationships with my clients.

Under the consent and guidance of the head office, located in Sydney, I have built, assisted and facilitated new friendships and partnerships with other brands and new pools of customers whilst additionally fostering for existing ones.

Undertaking a cross-functional role in Human Resources and Aurizon's Capability and Brand & Communications teams, my hybrid role as a Brand & Communications advisor to the Capability and Brand and Sponsorship teams within Human Resources entails a range of key responsibilities that have directly aligned with my expertise and professional development obtained from my degree of Business and Interactive & Visual Design.

Key responsibilities included: 

  • Curation of Aurizon's LinkedIn page including written content and imagery
  • Management of multiple social media channels involving generating and scheduling content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter & YouTube
  • Analytics reporting of web traffic & performance of social media platforms as well as traffic to the external Aurizon Website
  • Coordination of the Aurizon Web Transformation project working alongside Sydney web design agency, Fusion and assisting the governance of the web design process in coherence with the Aurizon brand
  • Involvement & coordination of a series of keynote speeches made by the Executive Leadership Team, involving their individual insights and advice they can provide to the Aurizon community in terms of their current and past functional expertise
  • Generation of info-graphic illustrations for various leadership teams with the intention of interpreting, arranging, communicating and presenting arrays of material in a visually engaging manner.
